Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Protti mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Protti is a VPN and proxy client application for iOS. It enables you to configure and connect to proxy and VPN servers that you provide or obtain independently. We do not operate, own, or control any VPN or proxy servers. We do not provide internet bandwidth, IP addresses, or network infrastructure. The App is a configuration and connection management tool only.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

Legal compliance: Ensuring that your use of VPN and proxy services complies with the laws and regulations of your country, region, or jurisdiction. VPN and proxy usage is restricted or prohibited in some countries. We make no representation that using the App is lawful in any particular location.

Server sourcing: Obtaining, paying for, and ensuring the legality of any proxy or VPN servers you configure in the App. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party server providers you use.

Credential security: Protecting the proxy credentials, passwords, and server configurations you store within the App. All data is stored locally on your device.

Lawful use: Not using the App to facilitate illegal activity, circumvent access controls in violation of applicable law, or infringe the rights of others.

3. No Warranty on Connectivity

We do not guarantee the uptime, speed, reliability, or security of any third-party proxy or VPN server you configure. Connection quality depends entirely on the servers you use and your network conditions. We are not responsible for connection failures, data leaks caused by misconfigured third-party servers, or degraded performance.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Protti is free to download. A paid subscription (“Protti Pro”) unlocks premium features including Always-On VPN, Kill Switch, and multiple server profiles.

Billing: Monthly and yearly subscription options are available, along with a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Management: Manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple App Store Account Settings.

•

Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the “Restore Purchases” option in Settings to recover your active subscription.

Free tier: Core VPN and proxy functionality remains available without a subscription. Premium features are clearly marked in the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App.
  • Connection failures, data leaks, or performance issues caused by third-party servers.
  • Legal consequences resulting from your use of VPN or proxy services in your jurisdiction.
  • Unauthorized access to credentials or data stored on your device.
  • Interruption of service due to App updates, iOS changes, or Apple policy changes.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its interface, design, and source code are our intellectual property. Your purchase or download grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your Apple devices. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App or any portion of it.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or terminate access for users who violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid, which are governed by Apple's refund policies.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version at this URL and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the jurisdiction where the developer is located.
